Initially established to provide disabled and less able-bodied fishermen and women with easy access to a fishing lake, the complex is now open to everyone who enjoys fishing—whether through a day ticket, season ticket, or family membership.
The lakes are maintained by a dedicated committee of members who voluntarily donate their time and effort to ensure the complex continues to operate smoothly.

ADVANCE NOTICE :
The lakes will be CLOSED from 8pm on Thursday 20th August until Saturday 5th September (please note that this may get extended depending on how long the lakes take to refill).
This is to allow us to drain the lakes for lily root removal.
There will be a work party weekend 22nd & 23rd where most of this work will be carried out so we would appreciate any help you can offer and any time you could commit.

Important Notice – Please Check for Updates
Before starting your fishing session, please check the Manderson Trust website and the notice board located next to the toilets for any latest updates, lake closures, changes to lake conditions, or amendments to the fishing rules. It is the responsibility of all anglers to familiarise themselves with any current notices and rules before fishing. Rules and conditions may be updated from time to time, so please check for the latest information before every visit. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep the Manderson Trust lakes safe, well maintained and enjoyable for everyone.
UPDATE NOTICE – PADLOCK SECURITY
Please ensure that the padlocks are secured exactly as shown in the reference photograph.
The Night Ticket padlock is permanently fixed to the chain. There must always be two chain links between the Night Ticket padlock and the Day Ticket padlock.
After unlocking and relocking the gate, please ensure both padlocks are returned to their correct positions as described above. This helps maintain the security and correct operation of the gate for all members.
If you are the last person leaving the complex please lock the gate securely thank you.

We are open every day for DAWN to DUSK fishing.
Day ticket customers will need to text or ring Tim on 07582 164492 if the gate is locked.
Important: Please read carefully:
Anglers must carry a valid membership while fishing the complex and hold a current EA rod licence. All nets and unhooking mats must be dipped before use. Anglers found breaking the rules will be asked to leave the complex. Please ensure landing nets and mats are dipped in the dip tank upon arrival, if changing lakes mats and nets must be dipped before fishing different lakes. NO BAIT BOATS ALLOWED
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult a person over the age of 18 when day fishing. Night fishing is permitted only for individuals aged 18 or over who hold a valid day and night Manderson Trust membership. Individuals under 18 wishing to night fish must be accompanied by an adult who holds a valid day and night Manderson Trust membership, covering all participants.
