Welcome to The Manderson Trust, a unique fishing complex in Overcote, United Kingdom, born from a vision of inclusivity. Initially established by Dennis Manderson, our primary aim was to provide disabled and less able-bodied fishermen and women easy access to a fishing lake. Today, we proudly open our waters to everyone who enjoys the sport, whether you're a day-ticket holder, a season ticket member, or part of a family membership. The Manderson Trust was founded on a heartfelt principle: to ensure that fishing is accessible to everyone. Dennis Manderson’s pioneering spirit led to the creation of a complex designed with ease of access at its core. We believe the joy of angling should be shared by all, and our facilities reflect this commitment by welcoming every enthusiast to our beautiful lakes.
A unique community spirit & simple systems
What truly sets The Manderson Trust apart is our community-led approach and unique systems. We operate an honesty box system for day-ticket purchases—simply place your payment in a brown envelope, complete your details, and post it into the black box by the office door.
Our dedicated committee members and bailiffs, all of whom are volunteers, work tirelessly to maintain the lakes and are always on hand to help with any questions or concerns, ensuring the Manderson Trust remains the best it can be.
Ample on-site parking close to the lakes, with disabled parking available next to the fishing platforms. And yes—you can even fish on the top using bread or floating baits such as dog biscuits!
